Guangzhou FC, China’s most successful football club, have not been granted permission to play professionally during the 2025 season due to financial issues. Liverpool goalkeeper Marcelo Pitaluga returning to Fluminense in permanent transfer

Liverpool goalkeeper Marcelo Pitaluga is returning to Brazil to sign for former club Fluminense on a permanent deal. The 22-year-old has been on loan at Scottish Championship side Livingston so far this season but leaves without making a single league appearance. Pitaluga jumped at the opportunity to rejoin Fluminense in a bid to kick-start his career after a frustrating period.
