James Rodriguez signs for Club Leon after Rayo Vallecano exit

James Rodriguez has joined Mexican side Club Leon after leaving Rayo Vallecano earlier this month. The 33-year-old had his contract terminated at Rayo on January 6, having made just seven appearances for the Spanish side. A statement from the La Liga club confirmed on Monday that “Rayo Vallecano and Club Leon have reached an agreement for the transfer of James Rodríguez”.
