The pool scene in the Hua Hin area prior to the covid lockdown was vibrant, with multiple leagues running across the Hua Hin and surrounding areas. It became quite hard to keep track of them all, but most, if not all the leagues stopped in 2019 as a consequence of the shutdown of the venues by the authorities. We do not know, as of May 2022, whether any of them will start up again, but even if the previous ones do not, we are certain that new ones will spring up, as there has always been a demand for both the competition and the social aspect. To the best of our knowledge, the following is a complete list (and link where it is still active) to each of the leagues that was operating in 2019.

On Mondays the Hua Hin and Khao Takiab Ladies League used to take place, Tuesdays was the TPL94 League and the Hua Hin Soi 80 Tuesday Pool League, on Wednesdays there were four leagues – Hua Hin Social, the NWPL (New Wednesday Pool League),the HIPPO Hua Hin Wednesday Pool League and the Friends Of Hua Hin Pool League – taking place simultaneously. On Thursdays was the Prime Steakhouse Thursday Pool League, while on Fridays there was the Hua Hin Pro Pool League.
